Statistics and Simulations

Statistics covers many issues from abstract areas such as hypothesis testing and parameter estimation to more down to earth problems such as the collection and interpretation of data. Statistics has found application in almost all fields of research including physics, social sciences, biology and life sciences, and marketing, among others. The purpose of this page is to illustrate some statistical concepts using QuickTime movies and java applets.
